WAPA's Fall 2013 Party
As is our semi-official, quasi-formal tribal tradition of having the new WAPA President host the annual Fall party, I will be doing so this year. To accommodate travel, religious holidays, and other mysterious requirements, the Fall Party is scheduled for Sunday, September 15, at 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
The goal is the very important cultural fundamental of social interaction. Complex theoretical discussions and analytical discourse are not required, but will be permitted.
As has been irregularly established, the party will be, in the accepted jargon, "potluck" (i.e., redistribution of nutritional resources). Please accept the following non-binding guidance pertaining to the domains of participation:

A-J: Main course
K-R: Side dishes
S-Z: Appetizers or dessert
The entity known as WAPA will supply the drinks.

It is about four miles north of the Beltway off of New Hampshire Avenue (if you are driving and find no space in the driveway, you are welcome to park on the lawn).
Metro: The closest station is Glenmont, but it is another four miles from there so additional transportation would be needed. Taxis are always at the station. There is a
ride logistics and sharing forum on our website.
