WAPA'S Spring Potluck (Updated)

GEORGE WASHINGTON BIRTHPLACE NATIONAL MONUMENT

Due to inclement weather on the original date, the picnic has been rescheduled for June 24, 2018 (same time, same place).

Date:  Sunday, June 24, 2018

Time:  1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Ranger-led tour @2:00 pm, picnic area closes at dusk)

Location: 1732 Popes Creek Road, Colonial Beach, VA 22443

Join us for WAPA's spring potluck, the final outing of the 2017-2018 season! Event is open to members and their families as well as those interested in joining WAPA. Potluck will be held at the Pope’s Creek Picnic Area Pavilion, located at the George Washington Birthplace National Monument. The pavilion and picnic area sit on a bluff overlooking the mouth of Pope’s Creek with views of the Potomac River. A connecting footbridge leads to the historic area, farm, colonial garden, visitor center and gift shop.

Please bring an item to share based on the first letter of your last name:

 A-F:  appetizers or salads

G-M: entrees

N-S:  desserts

T-Z:  bread, crackers, or beverages (non-alcoholic and/or alcoholic)

If what you are assigned does not work for you, no worries!  Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
