Speaker: Monica Gomez Isaac, WAPA Program Chair will host the evening
Date: Tuesday, 08 June 2021
Location: Online meeting via Zoom Time: 7:00 pm
About the event:
WAPA will host Anthropological Scattergories, a word game that requires players to provide unique answers to a category list with the same answer. Beginning with a pre-selected letter of the alphabet to randomly generated categories, each team must work together to come up with responses starting with the appropriate letter. Multiple categories are assigned and teams have to beat the clock to devise cleaver responses. Points are scored if no other team matches your answer. One point for generic answers. Two points for unique answers (anthropologically-centered). Zero points for no answer/duplicates. To win, score the most points. Example: Name of a spice that begins with the letter ‘H’.
What is needed to play:
Ability to connect to zoom, a pad of paper, pencil, and quick wit.
